Airport security (2)

Monday 18th September 2006

Security at Heathrow was still insane on the 10th September (exactly a month after the ``liquid bomb plot'' story broke). There were very long queues to get through security and they were making a point of confiscating bottles of water, lighters and food and displaying them on tables outside the departures door as a warning to others.

Today Nafeez Ahmed has another article in which he quotes a Lieutenant-Colonel Nigel Wylde as saying that

the police and government story about the "terror plot" revealed on 10th August was part of a "pattern of lies and deceit".
