I went to the Linspire launch event in London on Monday last week. I found Michael Robertson quite impressive, but I haven't installed the sample copy we were given yet, so I won't comment on it except to say that it seems to have been designed with ease of use very much in mind. The install CD also runs as a live CD. There were not enough people at the event.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday I went to the Python conference (part of the ACCU event at Oxford).

On Sunday we had a good day at home with friends, food and wine.
