I've checked that my solver also solves all the "fiendish" (numbers 76 to 100) puzzles in The Times Su Doku Book 2.

However I have found three puzzles (which I belive have unique solutions) that it fails on: two of them are the Times puzzle of 19th May and the "very hard" sample puzzle from the Times.
