I'm still intruiged by the Peter Power story, despite what I wrote yesterday.

PrisonPlanet has a video clip of him being interviewed on ITV news.

In it he describes the location of the exercise as "close to a property occupied by Jewish businessmen". To comment on the ethnicity of the people round about you in the City in this way is very odd indeed, unless he was referring to the TASE Israel Opportunity 2005 investment conference hosted by a major international bank (whose offices are at Liverpool Street), which is the very conference where Benjamin Netanyahu was due when he was allegedly warned (as reported by Israeli media) in advance. Clearly it would be both appropriate and accurate to refer to the premises where that conference took place as "occupied by Jewish businessmen".
