It installed well without any obvious major problems (AMD64). Two things I've noticed so far:

The installer said that it would install grub to the boot sector of the root partition -- in fact it wrote it both to the root partition and to the MBR.

It seems to crash on shutdown (interestingly so does the latest Ubuntu beta on the same hardware) - I haven't looked into what's happening here yet.
