Yesterday's Independent carried an excellent attack on Charles Clarke by Matthew Norman, entitled "The poisonous bully in the Home Office", which highlighted his appalling behaviour towards Canon Philip McFayden, father of Rachel.

Unfortunately it's one of their "Portfolio" items which means that only the first couple of paragraphs are on line (unless you pay):
