On Saturday I went to the FLOSS UK event at Birmingham.
After a slightly late start, the keynote was given by Simon Phipps. He discussed threats to software freedom and particularly the ACTA treaty.
A session devoted to this, and jointly chaired by Simon Phipps and Russel Winder took place immediately afterwards, and was one of the highlights of the day.
After the conference ended I drove down to Sandy Balls.
